Dimethylglycine, or DMG, is an amino acid, a building block for protein. It is found in the body in very small amounts and for only seconds at a time.
DMG is a non-protein amino acid found naturally in animal and plant cells. DMG is produced in cells as an intermediate in the metabolism of choline to glycine.
Some people use it to reduce stress and the effects of aging, as well as boost the immune system’s defenses against infection. Dimethylglycine is also used for cholesterol management and to help bring blood pressure and blood sugar into normal range.
Some have reported that Dimethylglycine can enhance oxygenation at the cellular level, reduce fatigue and enhance physical stamina.
